JFro & Co came to be with a simple intention: make something beautiful, practical, and personal with what you’ve got. Each item is designed to make life a little easier, and reflect your personal style while you go about it. A key component to the lovely end results are quality materials; with a focus on purchasing local, community-sourced goods, as well as up-cycling hidden gems that have been over-looked, our designs contribute to a more sustainable, eco-friendly, and down right gorgeous way to shop.

**Meet Julie! The designer, creator, and CEO behind JFro & Co.**

Julie was born and raised in Smithers, BC, Canada, where sewing and creating things from scratch was instilled in her right from the start. Julie has always had a heart and passion for creating beautiful things for those she loves. Her happy place is her cozy sewing nook, humming away over a new project.
Recently retired from her years of full-time work at various local businesses around the Bulkley Valley, Julie found her passion for sewing was amplified with her new-found time at home. In 2018, Julie created a tote bag on a whim for a friend of hers. The gorgeous design she came up with sparked rapid interest and the requests came rolling in; JFro & Co was born.
When Julie is not burning hours away on her sewing machine, she can be found making delicious baked goods, spending time on walks with her husband Norbert, and visiting with all of her children and close friends.

Meet the Team Behind JFro & Co…

Norbert Froese

Norbert has been instrumental in all aspects of JFro & Co. He has a methodical approach to see what is needed and continually illustrates his expertise in building by constructing all of the display pieces. He is often a permanent fixture at shows and his ability to encourage new creative ideas and help to make them possible has been the driving force behind JFro & Co.
Tawnya Froese

Tawnya is a key member of the R&D department; beginning with the prototype tote bag and continuing with the knitting product lines. She is always willing to test new products and report back with notes, design modification suggestions, and further development ideas. Tawnya often tests prototypes for JFro&Co - if you’re interested in what’s next, check out what she’s using!
Jesse Lafountain

Jesse was the person who first sparked the idea of JFro&Co. His encouragement was overwhelming, and his creativity and out of the box thinking continue to provide guidance on everything from marketing ideas and advertising, to fabric and supplies acquisition.
Lyndsy Froese

Lyndsy has a keen eye for style and keeps JFro&Co. updated on the trending colours and design ideas. Her honesty and judgement have helped form the aesthetic of JFro&Co.
Kyle Froese

Kyle is an avid outdoor adventure seeker and is an extremely active member of our R&D (research and development) department. Kyle is continually designing and tweaking products in our outdoor life line to help produce functional, beautiful products that, like Kyle himself, prioritize durability.
Katie Froese

Katie is our in house IT department; she developed and maintains the website, in addition to troubleshooting all things technology. Her ongoing patience and dedication helps JFro&Co function smoothly in both the online and offline worlds.
Glen Storey

My brother Glen has been instrumental in the design and decor of the studio. His creative eye has turned the studio into a thing of beauty. He continues to add pieces that coordinate beautifully and showcase the JFro & Co bags.
